There are people around us who eat so much but still never put on weight and we are envious about it. But thin people are really happy?? It’s said that, “we always want things we don’t have” and that’s perfectly true in my case. I’m thin and many times people ask me if I’m suffering from anemia or thyroid ☹ ☹ ☹ and this makes me sick sometime (gained some weight now ;)). But my aim is to have those sexy curves and chubby cheeks 😉 :P.  If you are one of those who want to gain weight then this article will help you ☺

 

Balanced Diet: Eating right amount of protein, carbs and fat will help you gain weight. Dieticians say that you gain weight regularly with 500 calories per day and this way you can gain healthy weight not fat weight. ☺ Dairy products, fish, eggs, beans, pulses and peas, potatoes, rice and meat can be great for you as they contain high amount of protein and starch.

Increase your Liquid Intake: To gain weight it’s important to increase your appetite and increasing liquid intake can help you in that. Milk, fresh fruit juices and energy drinks are high in calories and nutrients so go for them and see the difference. Moreover, avoid too much water drinking water between and before taking your meals as you don’t want to wreck your appetite.

Gain Weight

Eat wisely: Skinny people eat junk food carelessly thinking if won’t make them fat ;). I also do this every time 😛 But you can put on skinny fat. Skinny fat means you put on weight at wrong places internally (around vital organs) but appear skinny outside. So, it’s important to indulge in a right way. Nutrients, protein and carbohydrates are what your body needs not junk food.

Quit smoking: Cigarettes suppresses your appetite due to the components it has. And thus you don’t feed hungry which leads to weight loss. To gain weight you should quit smoking and if you can’t then try not to smoke before meals.

Lift Weights: In order to gain weight you should go for exercise that motivate larger muscle groups at ones as they demand more calories which will help you eat more. This is great to gain weight in right amount and at right place. Squats, bench presses, pull ups or dumbbells, rows, dips, snatches, power cleans, clean and jerks can work great for you.

Sleep well: This is important for everybody and thus swear by sleeping 8 hours a day. Sleeping helps in maintain the metabolism but make sure you sleep at right hours. Since odd hours sleeping can make your metabolism weak.

Gain Weight

These are the six ways by which you can put on weight. But make sure you eat, eat and eat so as to consume lots of calories in a day; I’m not saying junk food here (don’t feel sad ;)). It’s important to gain weight in a HEALTHY way with a combination of balanced diet and exercise. Follow the above tips religiously and get sexy curves and chubby cheeks 😉 like you always desired. ☺ ☺
